June 2, 2023 Church Report

Greetings from the La Lava SDA church members. At this time, we are pleased to tell you that we
remain united and active, attending church on Saturdays and our regular services during the week. In
addition, we persevere in our mission work. We have 18 members who meet at church. To the honor
and glory of God, a new sister joined us; she got baptized on Friday, May 19th, in the evangelistic
campaign in the Central Church of Quezaltepeque from May 14th to the 19th. Also, we have not
stopped meeting in our small congregations where we teach Bible studies.
Every Saturday that corresponds to the Messengers of Hope project, we go out to distribute the
literature of our church. As a result, we have managed to obtain contact with people from the community
with whom we will begin Bible studies.
On Saturday, May 13th, was a great blessing since we held a medical day in the community, and thanks
to the support of our brothers and sisters from Maranatha ICC, we were able to provide the medicine
that each patient required. We also distributed food, clothing, literature, and Bible teaching to the
children and adults who attended.
In other news, every Sunday, a crew of nine people works on the construction of the church, and with
great joy, we share pictures of what we have done to date.
