Our Mission
Evangelism

"Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe whatsoever things I have commanded you, and lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world."
-Matthew 28:19-21
Reach Out is about taking Jesus' Words very seriously. We want to share the gospel with as many people as we can. One of the things that Reach Out does is hold a series of Evangelistic meetings every night to share the Everlasting Gospel with those around them.
Students, as well as church members, enjoy sharing Jesus with those who do not know Him, so that they can be ready for His glorious return! Jesus says in Revelation 22:12 "Behold I come quickly...."
Vacation Bible School
"...“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God."
-Mark 10:14
There is no greater joy then to see children learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To see the joy in their faces that there is more to this life than what they have. Jesus offers them hope. Reach Out wants to be a part of reaching the children for Jesus as well.

Dental Ministry

"Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful."
-Luke 6:36
When it comes to painful experiences in life, there is probably nothing more painful than having a full blown toothache or an abscessed tooth. In the United States it is possible for most to receive dental care when needed, but in countries like El Salvador, dentists cost a lot of money. Reach Out seeks to follow Jesus' example by reaching out in mercy to those who are having dental problems.
2015 we didn't have a medical and dental team. San Pablo/Cojutepeque 2014 we went to the five sites where the evangelistic series were scheduled to be held. Each night a set number of tickets were handed out so those attending the meeting would be served first. The next day we were there and ready to go by 9 or 10am until 3 or 4pm. If time allowed walk-ins were taken care of. The first Sunday we served the local SDA churches of Cojutepeque and a few walk-ins.
Medical Ministry
"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him."
-Luke 10:33, 34
The Good Samaritan is a well known story in the Bible. Jesus admonishes us as Christians to help those who are in need. This can even mean their physical ailments. Many people find themselves beaten up by the health tradgedies and diseases in life. In El Salvador, it is very difficult to get good care. Just like the man bleeding on the side of the road, Reach Out works to help those who are sick and injured.
Week of Prayer

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
-Matthew 21:22
Prayer is probably one of the most important aspects of reaching out to those in need. Reach Out works to encourage children to talk to their Heavenly Father, about what is going on in their life, and to seek the Lord and accept His free offer of Salvation.
Last year 13 baptisms resulted form the work of the Holy Spirit. This year 19 came forward with friends to commit to bible study.
Church Construction
"He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock."
-Luke 6:48
Although this verse is talking about following Jesus' teachings, there is probably no better way to build a house than on a rock. Reach Out works to make sure that the churches built in El Salvador are strong and can outlast the strong winds, and weather. Like Jesus' Word, we want the church to be a safe place, to go to in times of storm.
