May 12, 2023 Church Report

Receive a cordial greeting from the La Lava Adventist Church, Quezaltepeque. We want to tell you that we
remain active in missionary work; around 16 to 18 brothers and sisters gather together on Saturday and
during the regular services to worship God. By the grace of God, we have a new sister who got baptized.
On Sunday, March 5, a group of 7 brothers collaborated in the construction work of our future Adventist
University at ECAS.
We carried out small group evangelistic campaigns from March 6th to March 10th. There are three small
active congregations in the community. Two houses where we meet, their owners are non-Adventist; by the
grace of God, a precious soul gave her life to Christ.
On Saturday, March 11th, we had the joy of receiving the visit of our brothers and sisters from Reach Out
Ministries. It became a morning of great joy and jubilation when we received the good news that we got
sponsorship to build our temple, which undoubtedly became the answer to the prayers that we made for a
long time.
That very same day in the afternoon, we continued with the spiritual celebration as we participated in the
baptismal ceremony of our sister Norma Castillo and thus culminated a day of many blessings.
We are very encouraged to continue working for our God and serving our neighbor to bring the light of the
gospel to the La Lava community. We trust that our God will continue to guide our
church in every step we take and in every
decision we make. We say goodbye wishing
that the peace of God be with each one of you.
Sincerely,
Doctor Gabriela Flores.
