May 23 2023 Church Report

The El Castaño SDA church pruned a national tree (as
you can see in the picture). Since some of the
neighbors are against the construction of an Adventist
church in the community, they went to the Ministry of
Environment to complain about what the brothers
had done. The church got a fine. That church is about
10 kilometers away from the Maranatha Church so we
were not aware.

The next day, we went to the City Hall to get the
permits to prune a Ceiba tree. That tree is in our
property, and its big branches will be an obstacle for
us to continue the construction of the church. We did
not get the permits that day because of what hapened
at the El Castaño church, but the mayor told us to do
some of the work at home, like tying rebar for grade
beam grids and columns. Please help us by praying
that we could overcome this situation very soon.
