Some kids from the community love to come to the job site to
help. This is the case of Jhony Edenilson Mendoza, who is nine
years old.
We always invite him to church on Saturday, but since his
parents attend a non-Adventist church, they do not allow him
to attend our church. Jhony likes our church, so when his
parents go to work or he doesn’t go to school, he comes to
helps us clean the site or spread the sand, carrying small things.

Other kids have become our friends too, but they have the
same problem as Jhony; their parents are an obstacle for them
to worship with us on the Sabbath day. Please, include these
kids in your prayers so that their desire to worship God never
ceases.

This is Antonio.
He has been working on the project since the
first day.
He is a farmer. And he also buys his neighbors
fruits when they are in season. So very early in
the morning, he has to climb trees to pick the
fruits. Then he sells them at the market. He
motivates us a lot, so every church member is
helping with the project.

This is our pastor who at 4 am started visiting the members
of the church to pray for them. When he finished visiting
them all, he came to help us build the church.

Last Sunday, all the kids of the church came to help us. What a joy to see them work!

We are so happy that we already got roofing materials.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as
these.”

Testimony

“I have no words to express my gratitude to God! In my last testimony, I mentioned that my husband and I
were unemployed, but God knows when and how to answer prayers.
There is a public school near my home, and one of the teachers just retired; therefore, there was a job
opening. The school committee was going to meet to choose the new teacher. Another person was looking
for the same job, so when the committee voted, the other teacher got three votes, and I got four votes in
favor. God is always faithful to His children; I am so thankful to God because I know He has a plan for me.
