03 May 5, 2023 Church Report

To the honor and glory of God, we keep moving forward.
Testimony of Evelyn de Sandoval
“My husband and I are teachers, this year, we are unemployed, but we have a small business at home. Before
starting the project, my husband finally found a job; but he rejected the offer because he wanted to help
building the church.
My husband is the head elder of the church and also the person that the church committee named to be in
charge of the construction project (to buy materials, to get good prices, to be at the job site from 7 am to 4
pm so he is watching that all the resources are well used).
We are so grateful that the masons are working on a day rate. It is a big blessing because by working on a
piece rate, they charge $0.50 to lay each block, a different price to tie the vertical bars, pour concrete, and
so on. One of the masons is not Adventist, but because he is building a church, he agreed to charge $15 a
day; to show our gratitude, we provide lunch for him every day. The nine ladies of the church take turns
every day to cook lunch for the workers.
We are so grateful to the American brothers and sisters because our economic situation is not good enough
to even dream about building a church. We trust in God that He will provide for our needs. Thank you so
much for your support.
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen”
Happy Sabbath ☺
Sincerely,
Evelyn de Sandoval
