Hello brothers and sisters from the Cadillac SDA church,
We would like to share a little bit of the history of our church.
On November 28, 2020, the leaders of the church had a board meeting. By that time, we had neither a property
nor savings. That meeting was very important because we set a plan on how to raise funds, we agreed on
sending letters to different SDA churches, scheduled excursion days, and cooked different types of food to sell.
We also committed ourselves to personally save some money.
In 2021, we started working harder. We decided to sell pupusas, but we didn’t have the money to buy the
ingredients. It was so touching to see that one by one, every church member donated different things to make
the pupusas.
We thank God that He gave us the vision, commitment, leadership, and determination to continue moving
forward, doing different activities to raise funds. We also requested some economic support to the Conference
administrators to buy the property.
In 2023, we found a property on sale, and even though the Conference helped us, and we had been working for
two years, we didn’t have enough money. To make that possible, God intervened in a wonderful way.
God touched Brother Lizandro, who donated $5,000. With his donation, we could buy the property which was
$11,000. That is a little bit of the story of how we achieved our goal of buying the property. Mid-November last year, we had one baptism, a young girl decided to follow Jesus. Praise God! We appreciate your support. We have already requested the construction permits at the City Hall,
hoping that everything will work as expected.
